Fog

From my 30th floor office. Driving over the Bay I couldn't even see the top half of the building. It's clear now, but hazy.

This is one of those days where by the end I will be running on fumes. It's 10:20 and I've already had a 3 cups of coffee, and I just opened my second can of coke zero. Blame sleep deprivation and the World Series (how could you not stay up for the end of that!).

But, Uncle Nick (as we refer to him with Kenny) is on his way. And we will likely go to the Flora Bama tonight finally. And College Gameday is tomorrow morning and Lee Corso better put on the Tree costume.  And we have a street party tomorrow, and also a date with ESPN3.com to watch Stanford pull another "What's your Deal" on the Trojans in the Coliseum tomorrow night.

*sigh* - this was a long week. Sunday will be a sleepy day.

Hi...

You might have noticed that I haven't been blogging substantively lately. Mostly it's just pictures and videos of Kenny. Well, that's for two reasons: first, Kenny can't talk on the phone, so he needs the blog to keep up with his friends and family, to display his cuteness and to make his grandparents happy. Second, I've been working, which has been quite the adjustment. After enjoying the part-time student lifestyle for 2/3 years (1L year was more full-time), working full-time plus has been exhausting. So bear with me, and Curtis, since he's pretty busy too.  Even Kennydog is adjusting to his new life going to daycare 3-4 days a week. In the meantime, work has been going pretty well, everyone is nice and the work is challenging, and we are looking forward to our first visitor, as our friend Nick will be here this weekend as our friend Felipe will be driving through town tonight, followed by a weekend visit from Nick this weekend!

Coming up, I have the MRPE (ethics bar exam which I've already taken once and passed) in Montgomery in two weeks, so I'll get to see another part of the state, and I'll be traveling back to San Francisco for the Stanford-Oregon game. Then, thanksgiving, with the visit of my parents and brother! And then it will be Christmastime - yikes time moves fast. All 3 of us will be in CA for Christmas, at least for the long weekend, but the bowl game schedule will dictate how long I will be there, since, unlike Curtis, I don't get the entire week off :-P.

Have a good week!

My office view :-)

My office faces north, away from the gulf.
