Now that many of my cards are out, here is our Christmas Card. Although when I went to order more, I ended up ordering half of this card and half of the other holiday card because the Holiday card came out so nice! I love the discounts I get for sharing my numerous Shutterfly projects :-).

Happy Monday
I now owe the family blog at least 2 posts - one on my parents and Jon's visit over Thanksgiving and the other on our trip to Bellingrath Gardens to see the Christmas Lights last night (a local must-see).
But, I'm not up for blogging too much right now, or more accurately, the idea of adding all those pictures is daunting. Maybe tonight, or next week.
In the meantime, there is some excitement this week. I will be sworn in tomorrow, as an attorney licensed to practice in California. As someone always looking ahead, I think it won't really be the realization of a dream until I am actually signing a brief or appearing in court, but it will be nevertheless a major milestone. A federal judge here has graciously agreed to swear me in, and I look forward to the brief ceremony. And, my dad is flying in tonight for it, which will make it that much more special.
Wednesday we have our firm Christmas Lunch, followed that evening by the Associates' Christmas Party, which is something that the most junior associate gets to plan (me). By tradition, it's at a local dive bar and the junior associate (me) reserves the venue, plans the food, and solicits donations from the attorneys to pay for it. Should be fun, or at the very least interesting.
This weekend we don't have anything planned, other than Kenny being groomed, and getting him ready for our trip (and us getting ready for our trip). I'm starting to plan the CA visit, it's going to be busy to say the least, but I hope I will be able to see everyone.
Have a good week!

11/30 I am thankful for, a day late...
Since it's my last, I'll be general.
I am thankful for having such a wonderful family and group of friends. I had the opportunity to speak with my two good law school friends 2 nights ago, we're all living in different parts of the country and are all very busy so it's hard to find time to talk. But there are so many life changes for us and it was great to share what is going on in our lives with each other.
Happy December!
(we have a very busy month ahead...yikes!)
